The Pru Perspective # 1

Yesterday was a bit hectic, but we managed to get off that dreadful planet in one piece. Well, some of us did anyway. Roy apparently fell on hard times and we were forced to put him down in order to stop the damn medic from wasting every last supply on keeping the corpse alive. I had planned on putting a blaster bolt through his skull, quick and painless, but the Nikto had other plans and apparently wanted a little blood on his blade.

The details on what all went down was fairly sketchy, so I guess I’ll just log this report as I saw it. I had elected to stay behind with the ship and Nikto slaves to give my injuries additional time to heal. Those damn red ones are a lot tougher than I gave them credit for, maybe we’ll try and exchange a red for a green later on. <chuckles> Nah, that green fella ain’t too bad, but I’m still trying to figure our his intentions. I mean, I’m not big on slavery (gotta do what you gotta do I guess), but I’m not sure I could simply round up my fellow Kel Dor’s (no matter our differences) and hand them to a Hutt, but maybe he has his reasons. Anyway, while I’m resting, the rest of the group took off to enter this compound that supposedly has some holed up Nikto’s that we can “talk” into the “good life” outside of this heap.

So here I am just relaxing a bit when I see that sneaky little Bothan playing around with some other ship across the way. Obviously, she made a mistake because the whole damn ship got fried and who knows what else. It kind of sparked my interest… heh, “sparked” my interest (nice to humor yourself by accident sometimes). Anyway, I started to head out but the stitch in my side (damn Nikto’s) about opened up so I figured I best just sit still. Well I didn’t see much else after that, and those Nikto don’t speak much, at least not in a language I understand anyway, so I locked up the ship and got some much needed shut-eye.

I eventually woke up from my little nap and was surprised that the group had yet to get back, and after several tries on the comlink with no reply, I decided it might be best to check things out. The top of the compound looks to be a nice perch to scout the area from and hopefully I can pry those shutters open and get a peak inside. If they’ve done gone and got themselves in a bind, I was thinking I would have to head out on my own and drop these fellas off with the Hutt myself. Hopefully it won’t come to that because the Hutt doesn’t like getting shortchanged and I’d rather not have to fly this tub by myself.

After getting suited up, I left the ship and locked her up tight, at least in appearance, and headed for the compound. As I drew closer I was able to see the carnage out front of the ship that the Bothan perhaps sabotaged or something, and the bodies of the troopers. Empire has their hands in everything it seems… These fellas got tore up just right, and from the looks of their wounds, I was thinking that maybe one of those Sith might be in here. Haven’t seen one for myself, but if the rumors are true, I should be grateful for that. Well, my plan to go up top was looking better and better, so off I went. The climb wasn’t easy, especially with the stitch, but luckily they held and I was able to make it to the top.

Once I got the first shutter opened I was able to look down inside and get a view of foyer. Apparently, there was some excitement in that spot earlier because there was a couple of folks down on the ground. After focusing a bit with the rifle I was able to identify one of the bodies.. Roy.. He got himself tore up pretty bad, but all I could think of then is that I was going to have to fly that heap out of here by my lonesome. But then a light at the end of one of the hallways caught my attention, especially when a trooper came walking over to stand over the woman and Roy. I couldn’t quite tell what he was doing, but about that time I caught the slightest bit of movement from Roy’s chest. That stubborn dolt was still alive. This put me in a spot I tell ya. Do I shoot Roy and keep the Empire from knowing about me, that bounty was still on my head out there, or do I just pop the trooper and high-tail it off-world.

My choice was made for me though. I was just about to put one into Roy when the doors near the trooper crashed open and half a dozen or more droids poured out and started blasting the place up. That’s when our Twi’lek popped out and took a pop shot at the droids, or was it at the trooper? Hell if I know, but the driods didn’t seem to care and put a bolt down the corridor and quieted her down something quick. I figured at this point I could take a few of the droids down and then deal with the trooper, so I popped the head off the first one…. Roger Roger that (never gets old I tell ya)… A quick peek at the trooper and I’m feeling glad I didn’t pop him or Roy when the chance was there because that blasted idiot was standing over Roy protecting him. He’s probably gonna be joining ole Roy in the afterlife in a few seconds, but nobody ever said those Spaarti’s were bright.

Next thing I know the rest of crew joins the fray and we slowly begin picking the droids apart. I can’t say their tactics were too sound, and apparently they are all def when it comes to comlink chatter because they seemed to do just the opposite of the plan I laid out. Seriously, I have the overhead superiority and great positioning. They could have just took cover on those pillars and drew those tinnies out and let me pick em off one by one, but I guess they were just overzealous and wanted some action. They took some pretty nasty hits from the droids, but after re-positioning up top and getting a couple more of those shutters open we were able to put the tinnies down.

Once all the excitement was over I came down to have a look at Roy, but given all the commotion around him it was looking like he wasn’t going to make it, yet the damn medic was going through supplies like crazy trying to keep him going. We all knew what had to be done, and before I could get over there to put him down the Nikto put a blade in him.. No worries either way, problem solved. Hated ole Roy didn’t make it, but this life isn’t an easy one to live. Bout the time Roy got put down, this other NIkto comes walking in and from the looks of it, this fella had himself a cortosis staff. Apparently the group failed to tell him about me or me about their deal with the fella, but it all came out in the wash and after that unfriendly looking Nikto took off we managed to get out of the compound and back to the top. Oh that reminds me of something.. That damn Twi’lek slipped off the grapple cable on the way up and dropped straight on her lekku. She rung her bell pretty good, but the fur-ball was able to get her up to top eventually.

We had to bring the trooper with us, mostly because we needed a competent pilot after Roy’s death and after his sob-story about the Empire, honestly I don’t know much about it, but he said he would fly us out of there, so off we went. I kept my eye on em the whole trip and he stayed on the straight and narrow the whole time, so hopefully the ole boy works out. Can always use a good pilot and some of those troopers can be pretty handy in a scrap. After that last fight we were all in pretty rough shape, so hopefully nothing else happens till we get to The Wheel and get patched up. The Hutt got what he wanted and surprisingly paid us the credits as promised. I thought for sure after he slipped those recorders in our suits that he would cross us, but he held true and seemed none the wiser about that little snafu with his droid.

Anyway, we’re off to The Wheel and from there to find out exactly how valuable that data chip is that the big Nikto gave us. Until then, I’m hoping to do a little browsing in the market and get patched up.

Doctor's Notes
Mission 2

I have decided to record a personal log for multiple reasons but primarily for professional research. The following documentation inscribes general characteristics and personal opinions I have witnessed first hand of my current crew.

Jaxx (The Slicer)

  • Species, Bothan
  • Mental State, stable – Curious with a high risk factor to other members
  • Overall Health, good
    Current state: Received heavy blaster fire from hostile droid combatants. Endured substantial blood loss, burns, and internal bruising/swelling of the left abdomen side. Medical scan showed all internal organs intact and no permanent damage done. Treated immediately on scene with emergency stim-pack.
    Prognosis: Blood transfusion enacted. Skin graphs applied for Integumentary damage. Bacta applied for inflammatory. Suspect full recovery in approximately 2-4 days with strict bed rest.

Ray Buchannon (The Pilot)

  • Species, Human
  • Mental state, stable – Prideful on the edge of arrogance
  • Overall Health, good DECEASED
    Current State: Received very heavy blaster fire to right arm, mid back and front torso resulting in loss of right hand , right lung collapse, and mid spinal damage. Bludgeoning damage to the head, front torso and right leg resulting in a head concussion, fractured R3/R4 ribs, and fractured right tibia bone. Puncture wound to the heart resulting in cardiovascular failure, and extreme blood loss.
    Prognosis: N/A
    Notes: The crew took it upon themselves to end Mr. Buchannon’s life. His wounds were beyond me…. his suffering was intolerable. I can still feel his agony wash over me as I evaluated his state at the time. I need to cut the bonds of emotion between the patient and myself… I never want to feel that again, the feeling of hopelessness one has knowing the inevitable end is near. He at least endured a quick and painless death at the hands of the Nikto.

I will continue my research and analysis of the rest of the crew after some much needed rest. I hope to find a good deal on medical supplies on “The Wheel”.


Mission Log Notes:

Kark, the red nikto gave us an encrytped data core, supposedly from the Sananor, fabled treasure ship. The Sananor was known to be a separatist ship last departing with lots of credits and high quality biotech on board, before being lost.

Kark intercepted an Empire away team that landed on his planet in search of Sananor artifacts.

We know that if this core can be encrypted, we have to take it to Isotech on the Wheel.

Good time to make sure of those Wheel connections to schedule a meet with Recom, CEO of Isotech, as I am sure knowledge of this magnitude will grant us an audience.


The Pru Perspective # 2

The inside of this TIE fighter is certainly not something I am enjoying. The blasted thing is designed for those folks who apparently care little for their lives, with it having no shields and all. Sure they’re fast and make cool noises when they fly around, but they just aren’t for me. No shields, no thanks. Yet here I am, logging my little journal while sitting inside this vessel of death pretending to be a stranded Imperial. Who’s idea was this again? Admittedly, I believe I may have been a bit hasty in my decision to sign on for this gig, but after being pulled out of hyperspace by that damned Interdictor cruiser and having our hyperdrive damaged, we didn’t have much choice. Especially with… Oh man, let me just explain how I got here.

We are cruising along in hyperspace, Varum and I had just woken a few minutes earlier and hopped in the cockpit, when Bam! We are snatched out of hyperspace into this full-bore battle between the Rebels and Imperials. Obviously, given my past with the Empire, and that nasty little bounty they placed on my head, I was all for helping that Alliance medical frigate out of their current jam. I wish I could say that we swung the tide of battle, but honestly our vessel isn’t designed for those types of space skirmishes, but we were able to clear the way for that final bomb run, and took a couple of those TIE down in the process. In the end it worked out for us. The Rebels offered to help us repair the damage done to our hyperdrive by the TIE fighters, as well as plug those wonderful holes that Humble decided to drill into the hull in his attempts at repair. That fella is an aight medic, but next time I think we’ll keep him strapped in his seat or restrict him to doing exactly what Jaxx tells him to do. We were lucky those holes didn’t open up into a much larger problem, but I guess all is well that ends well.

Back to the Rebels. As with everything, assistance is often followed by a “simple” favor, which was the case here. The boss on their boat, Major… umm.. I’ll just call him Major D… Oh wait.. You know what, I’m just gonna leave that in there. Maybe someone besides me will see the humor in that. Anyway, this fella needs a little help hijacking this CR90 Corvette that they hope to utilize in their fleet. Supposedly he’s got an inside man droid that is suppose to be our contact once we get on board. Things are often not as simple as they sound, but we need some help getting the Bleeding Sparrow going again. So, the Major has this grand plan to stuff us into some salvaged TIE’s and leave us sitting around in open space for this ship to drop in on. The guy has a way with words I guess because we jumped on the opportunity, though we had to leave the Twi’lek and Wookie with the Rebels. I’m pretty sure the lady and the beast wouldn’t come close to passing for Imperials, even with the flight suits on.

So, here we sit, uncomfortable as can be inside these cramped cockpits.. Well some of us, the damn Bothan appears to be right at home, while I’m struggling to hold off a bout of claustrophobia that I never knew I had. I’m pretty sure its not that, and has more to do with the fact I’m floating in open space in a small bubble with NO SHIELDS.. At least this log has helped me pass the time……. Perfect! The ship is here and its time to roll. Hopefully Varum comes through with that half-fabricated story and they… Yep, there’s the tractor beam. Almost time to shine…

One last thing. If those damn Rebels think I’m on their side after this then they are mistaken. I have no love for these Imperial bastards, and will do what I can to help out from time to time, but I’m no errand boy…… Ah, looks like these tinnies have some friends that came a little late to the party. A couple Z-95’s…….

Bendu's Shadow: Part 1

It wasn’t a smart plan but what choice did they have? The Sparrow’s hyperdrive was knocked out of commission by some over-zealous TIE pilots. The Sparrow wasn’t even involved in the fight willingly. The Interdictor cruiser’s gravity well projectors had pulled the scout ship out of hyperspace right in the middle of a skirmish.


Crippled, the Sparrow accepted an offer of aid from the medical frigate, Adegan Sunrise, for repairs at the cost of a small job. Simple really, just smuggle themselves aboard an empire corvette, capture the crew, modify the hyperdrive settings, reset the IFF switches and jump the vessel right into rebel hands. At least they weren’t going in blind. The rebellion had managed to place a RA-7 droid aboard the ship as an undercover agent.

The fee was negotiated; 10000 credits for the capture of the ship and 2000 for the safe return of the droid plus the rebels will fix up the Sparrow so she looks like “she just came off the line.” They sealed the deal with handshake and the rebel officer, Major Dernigan, filled them in on the details of the plan.

First, they were to pose as TIE pilots and be picked up by the Bendu’s Shadow as a stranded squad from the Inderdictor that had just been destroyed.

Then board the ship, neutralize the crew and recover the RA-7 droid with his intel intact.


Lastly, reset the IFF systems and jump the ship to the ambush site ready to handover to the Adegan Sunrise and her rebel crew.

The plan fell apart almost immediately. Some stick-jockies saw easy targets in the TIE fighters and almost blew the would-be captors into space dust. Getting aboard the Bendu’s Shadow was easy enough, too easy, as no communication attempts were made with the TIEs as they docked.

The description of a skeleton crew was an overstatement. Two decks had been searched before a human was found… in the brig of all places! He explained the situation, "“I suppose it’s well enough that you’re here. About three days ago one of our RA-7 droids was damaged in an attack. When repairing him, the droid technician noticed that he had some unusual circuitry installed – well, even more unusual than normal for an RA-7. He believed with some degree of certainty that it was a droid equipped to spy on the workings of this ship. In a display equal parts initiative and incompetence, he decided to rewire it back into a double agent. Of course, something went wrong, and now the droid…”

Mid-sentence a blaster bolt whizzed past the party and into Captain Dargot’s chest. The assassin was spotted to be an RA-7 droid holding a heavy blaster.

“All Imperial targets eliminated.” He cocked his head and turned towards the shocked party.

“Recalibrating. Organics not part of crew manifest. Ship reports TIE Fighters docked not long ago. Conclusion: New organics Imperial in nature. Objective updated.” No sooner than the droid said this, it dashed off into the hallways of the eerily-lifeless corvette.


Hell in a hand basket, that’s what this is. Turns out this “small” job we agreed to do in trade with the Adegen Sunrise is no less than FUBAR. I’d be surprised if this wasn’t my last comm. log to be transmitted through slicer space. Well while I have this log recording, you bet your candy buns I’m going to rant until that this junker corvette’s hull is torn too pieces, while we play tiddly winks before figuring out our next move. Because I sure as shit don’t know how we are going to make it out of this sarlac shit storm.

After realizing that the same RA-7 droid placed on the Bendu’s Shadow went all haywire, even more FUBAR once that Captain Jackass tried to turn it back imperial. Almost fitting that that RA-7 went all Cad Bane on the ship’s crew. Not very timely of us though to show up during its rampage. Who knows what it was planning before we arrived. After boarding the Bendu’s Shadow under sloppy pretenses, we managed (thanks to me! managed to live to see a few more parsecs), to locate key areas on the ship. One more incident of luck, finding a twe’lek pilot, Mala to join us without much trouble. Seems misery likes company. Because the rest was not without losses.

After an unfortunately passing of Captain Jackass just seconds after we found him, we let the rogue RA-7 slip away. I openly admit this ship had me on edge, but the sight of a blatantly dysfunctional RA-7 one-shotting the Captain got my fur up. The chances of living past a ripe ol’ age in Bothan years were drastically cut down. Frack if I get scared easily. I’ve seen too much experience to not flinch at possible pending death around each corner.

And if my wily fur wasn’t just spot on. The luck of the draw today was complete despair. Minimal exploration of Decks 2 and 3, and we finally set the IFF system to rebellion codes (another Yay Jaxx! moment), located the killer RA-7 droid but not before it blind sided Marruuk and Pru in the main corridor on Deck 3. Stupid stupid stupid. Who the frack thought cleaning up dead droids was a priority?!? Stunned, the encounter with the RA-7 proved the last for Marruuk. He stood a brave front that allowed Pru to get back to the safety of the sensor core room the rest of us were in. Just wish Marruuk could have gone out on his own terms. Just doesn’t seem right, you know how those Niktos like the open air. Getting sentimental in my ol’ age.

So you think that would be the worst of it right?! No, somehow being enraged by Marruuk’s untimely death got us riled up enough to lose our senses. We following the RA-7 to Deck 4. Stumbled across the ship’s injured imperial chief engineer. Oh don’t get too excited, this didn’t turn out to be a super great thing. Yes, Mala showed her allegiance by FINALLY filling that RA-7 android’s head with blaster fire. Yes, we felt Marruuk’s death avenged. Yes, we got the passkey off the RA-7 and enabled the hyperdrive, programmed the astrogation, stabilized shield control, and successful jumped the corvette to our designated rendevous with the Adegen Sunshine. Sounds dandy? Thought we’d just cruise in, collect our 12,000 credits (minus 2,000 for the useless intel on the RA-7) and pick up the keys to our “good as new” fully repaired scout ship? Luck of the draw….I’m here looking at the stat comms tell me there is a frackin’ Star Destroyer just off our starboard side.

The Pru Perspective # 3

Hyperspace still amazes me after all these years. The way the stars elongate and time seems to simply stand still. Our jump gives me time to reflect on the events that recently transpired and what a series of events they were. Hopping this frigate with such horrible intel was not our most shining moment and it ended up costing us dearly, but such is the life we lead. Upon boarding the ship we were lucky to discover that the tinnies didn’t pay us much mind as long as we kept our TIE gear on, this allowed us to move at our leisure. That is until Varum tried to manhandle some blast doors. Not the most intelligent thing to do and that certainly got the attention of the droids. Luckily we were able to dispatch the tinnies with only a few of us getting nicked, but we sure did a number on one of the elevators. It is a good thing nobody was monitoring the cams or I am sure this little mission would have ended a bit differently. Anyway, after all the chaos and some scouting we managed to get inside the brig and low and behold who did we find… Imperial Captain Dargot.. Our little encounter was short lived though because our supposed “inside man” came out of nowhere and put a blaster bolt through the fella’s chest. Like we didn’t have enough problems as it was.

Anyway, knowing we had to hurry before our new friend decided to make good on his new objective of putting us down, Varum split to scout the other decks for anything that could improve our chances of altering the IFF and getting the hyperdrive back online. Speaking of the hyperdrive, our little friend had decided to add another task to our current list by disabling the darn thing. After seeing the Captain holed up in the brig the rest of us decided to check and see if any more of the crew had been like-minded and found a secure spot to lay low. What we found was a Twi’lek prisoner name Mala. Apparently she had a run in with the imperials during a smuggling run and wound up in chains. With Varum running off, we figured it might be a good idea to do the lady a favor and in turn she would help us get this heap moving again. If Varum were to slip up again down below and get himself killed, perhaps she wouldn’t mind teaming up and flying the Sparrow around for us.

Well, after scouting a bit more we decided to go up another level to try and have Jaxx access one of the computer cores and see if we could spot the corrupted droid and hopefully find a way to access the IFF. This of course got us into yet another scrap with the tinheads. A minor inconvience after all was said and done, but it was more time wasted. Once we put them down we were able to find one of the control rooms and Jaxx was finally able to hack in and alter the IFF and begin the scan for the RA-7. While we were waiting, Humbe thought it would be a good idea to hide the tinnies we just took down and not thinking it through, Ole Mr. Greenskin and I headed that way. Unfortunately, the RA-7 was lying in wait for us as we entered the corridor and Marruuk got tapped pretty hard. I was able to fall back and begin peppering the RA-7 and to his credit Marruuk kep the droid engaged for quite a bit. Unfortunately, that knock he recieved when we were jumped had him out of sorts and he was overwhelmed. I am guessing the others were frozen in shock at seeing the RA-7 snuff out the Nikto because they were still at the console when I begin bangin on the doors. I did what I could to try and put the droid down, but it just wasn’t enough. Marruuk definitely did his part and fought to the end, definitely a credit to his kind.

Once Marruuk fell, the RA-7, battered and broken, fled to the turbolift and went up to the next deck. We followed in close pursuit but had to hold back once we arrived. Blindly bumbling into the corridor early had cost us a companion already, no sense in doing so again. Luck was with us though because we managed to find the Chief Engineer for the ship. He was banged up pretty bad from an earlier attack by the driod, but Humble was able to stabilize him and get him to his feet. He already knew of the issues regarding the hyperdrive, so we gave him a few stims and sent him to repair the dang thing. He might be Imperial trash, but you have to use whats available. Once the CE left, we cornered the RA-7 and after trading a few shots back and forth, were able to shut him down though not before he corrupted his memory and destroyed the intel therein.

So, here I am on the command deck of the Bendu Shadow watching the stars streak past. We are on our way to meet up with the Adegan Sunrise to recover the Sparrow and then hopefully leave this sector behind. The Twi’lek said we should be coming out of hyperspace in just a minute, so I guess I will pick this back up later.

Ah, there’s the Adegan Sunrise. I guess ole Major D. ain’t so bad after all. I just hope he’s kept his word in regards to the Sparrow as well. <alarms> SITHSPIT!!!

Humble's thoughts
No time to catch my breath, Part 1

My goodness!, where do I begin. The last few weeks have been very eventful to say the least. Why, just a few weeks ago I was safely in my medical lab aboard the Bleeding Sparrow reading some fascinating new research on the development of stem cells and cloning when I was rudely interrupted by my crew to go on another goose chase in space…. and look where it got us! Ohhh, how I long for a soothing bacta bath massage, but alas, I’m afraid I will not be able to enjoy some of those finer pleasures in life unless we can get out of our current dilemma in one piece. I have been through more than I could bare in the past few weeks. It all started out with us coming to an agreement with the Rebels. The deal was for us to try and hijack an Imperial Corvette by impersonating TAI fighter pilots in exchange for credits and the repair of our ship. We all landed some what successfully in the hanger of the Corvette and we even managed to find the captain of the ship, but our success did not last for very long when a droid flashed by and fired a shot in the chest of the captain. He was instantly killed and the droid who shot him got away. We would later encounter him again and eventually defeat him, but not before enduring heavy losses. Unfortunately, Marruuk succumbed to his wounds by the droid but I think I did him some justice by laying him to rest in a somewhat dignified way. We all suffered some injuries that I had to patch up on the go. It never fails though, I am able to resuscitate a dying victim to a stable condition, and one of my colleagues ends up killing him. In this case it was an imperial engineer who happened to survive his onslaught with the troublesome droid. He had sustained moderate internal bleeding through out his torso region and required immediate medical assistance. I was able to stop the bleeding with some bacta fluid and repair the damaged skin with some synth skin enough for him to be stabilized and communicate with us. It was all for naught though, when Pru shot him in the head at point blank range with a blaster rifle. I swear, my crew only think of themselves most times and throw all morals out the window when it is convenient for them… don’t they know I am a doctor and follow a very strict code of ethics?! I hope I can talk some sense into them very soon because I am afraid of the path we are all headed down and it does not look promising at all.

Bendu's Shadow: Part 2

With the Captain dead the crew of the Sparrow investigated the rest of the brig. The only other prisoner was a malnourished purple skinned Twi’lek smuggler arrested for spice-trafficking. Beggers couldn’t be choosers so they took her along and handed her a hold-out pistol to defend herself.


On deck 3 of the Bendu’s Shadow there was a short shootout with some droids on high alert. The crew made their way to the Sensors/Comms center to reset the IFF when Marruuk and Pru were tasked with hiding the scrapped droid’s that were blasted earlier. On the way the duo were ambushed by the rogue RA-7 who downed Marruuk before driving a vibro blade into his throat, killing him. The droid had suffered the loss of one of his arms and fled before Pru could finish him off, moving up the turbolifts to Deck 4.

The crew reorganized themselves and gave chase. Deck 4 was a slaughterhouse! The escape pods had been disabled and the droid cut down or blasted the imperials as they tried to flee. One man had survived though with only a blaster shot to his gut. With quick medical attention he was stabilized and introduced himself as Chief Engineer Harroch. He clearly didn’t trust the crew but needed their help to get the hyperdrives working so he agreed to work with them.

The rogue droid was cornered in the AI core of the Corellian transport and was gunned down with little fanfare. He last words were that he had uploaded his sentience into the ship wide systems. Unconcerned with his statement the crew went about reactivating the hyperdrive and jumping to the rendevous point with the Adegan Sunrise. But not before Chief Engineer Harroch was able to get a coded transmission out to the Empire forces about the hijacking.

Stalitz Escape: Part 1

The hand-off with the Adegan Sunrise was interrupted by the arrival of Imperial Star Destroyer.


The huge vessel released scores of turbo laser bolts and immediately trapped the Bendu’s Shadow in its powerful tractor beam. Aboard the shadow Humble had overpowered Chief Engineer Harroch. Pru had no time or patience for hostages though and put a blaster bolt through the imperials head despite the protests of the doctor.

A defense was set up against the incoming boarding party but the Storm Troopers overpowered the small crew of would-be pirates and disabled them with stun rounds. During a moment of clarity the crew of the Sparrow met an imperial doctor who administered drugs to keep them asleep for the long flight to their destination, wherever that may be.

They again regained consciousness aboard a shuttle en-route to an asteroid based prison. Stalitz, as it was called, was supposed to be impossible to escape as it had only 1 shuttle bay under guard by turbolasers and was otherwise inhospitable. The prisoners were left to their own devices mostly, mining or sleeping. They ingratiated themselves with the “Old Man” who seemed to know the dealings of the prison. He explained the dangers of attempting escape since only laser blasts or the void of space awaited anyone who would be so foolish.

Jaxx was able to sneak her way into the security office and set up a bug in the system to reboot the grid at a predetermined time the next day. The plan was to use the moment of time to rush to the shuttle bay and attempt to fly free of the prison. When the moment came though the crew panicked and found themselves instead rushing into the mines. The field that protected the miners was apparently down yet the air was not being vented into space as they had expected. Not trusting their eyes they braved a leap into the cold blackness of oblivion and instead found themselves falling through a holo-field into a lake below.

The entire prison was a ruse. The trickery had kept the prisoners from escaping as they thought they would only die in the void of space. Instead the escapees swam into a submerged pipe and followed it to an outpost nearby. There they confiscated a heavy blaster and three swoop bikes and fled north towards an airbase marked on the maps Jaxx had sliced from the system.

They had picked up a new passenger, a Wookie from the prison who had followed them this far. He aided in their escape and helped them commandeer a dropship from a small crew of Storm Troopers. The ship lacked a hyperdrive and they had little choice but allow it to dock with a waiting Star Destroyer above.

Once aboard the imperial warship they quickly killed an officer and attempted to slice the ships systems. They were recognized by a man in imperial uniform who happened to be Major Dernigan in an undercover operation for the Rebellion. He explained that the Empire was building and testing a new form of TIE fighter equipped with both a hyperdrive as well as a shield generator.


He was attempting to get the intel on this fighter and now, by stroke of luck, he had allies in the mission. He promised the crew a bonus as well as a return to their ship, The Bleeding Sparrow, which was still in rebel hands and being refitted for war.
